Makeup Organization for Spring

With Spring just around the corner, and the weather here in Michigan continuing to be on the super mild side ... it has sent me into a "Spring Cleaning" mood.

Over the past few weeks I have re-organized all my closets and  kitchen, moved all the furniture in my living room, changed where the artwork is on all of my walls, tackled some DIY projects that I have found, organized the bathroom ... but the one thing that I have yet to address in my makeup area. Time to throw things out and re-organize.

One of the things that I find most helpful to eliminate makeup clutter is my Z-Palette.  Every makeup brand anymore makes eyeshadow cases. And it is so easy to get suckered into purchasing one every time that you go and get new eyeshadow colors.

About a year ago I got introduced to my new love Z-Palette. I have a zebra striped one. And everything goes in them. I personally hate having all sorts of different eyeshadow, blush and liner palettes. So instead I have a few of the customizable Z-Palettes and everything can go right in them.

Because they don't have sized pockets for your products, any brand of makeup will fit into one convenient case. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

Check them out and organize your colors at home. PS the small one is great for traveling. Anytime I stay at my boyfriends, I insert the colors that I need for the following day..and away I go.

One of the bast things about them is that they are all made from recyclable products. How cool is that! Way to cut down on your carbon footprint. And they are just as strong as the plastic ones, it not better. And at $14 for a small one or $20 for a large one they are quite a steal!

You can even get empty metal pans to press looses eye shadows or even lipsticks into for ease of travel. Brilliant!!!!!!! So you are welcome for this lovely introduction, happy cleaning and exploring different ways that you can tidy up your makeup.
