Detox the Healthy Way

We all know that toxins build up in our system everyday. They can be from our daily diets or even the environment that we are in!

 A few times a year I like to do a good cleanse of my system. Not only does my system feel like I am no longer running on empty, but it also helps to improve the quality of my skin. And by improves the quality of my skin, I mean that it DRASTICALLY IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF MY SKIN !!!




Here are a few simple tips that I try to follow every time a do a good detoxifying cleanse. They are always worth trying to add into you everyday practice. But, we all know that practice makes perfect, it doesn't always come right away.


Incorporate these simple steps into your routine to detoxify your body the healthy way.
  1. Add cilantro to your food to help cleanse your body of heavy metals. A perfect meal addition for fish lovers!
  2.  Green tea is a great anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory beverage, and along with pure spring water will help the body flush out toxins and stay hydrated, supple, and healthy.
  3. Lemon is also a natural detoxifying agent, and many experts also believe detoxifying the body helps eliminate the lumpy and bumpy appearance of cellulite.
  4. Incorporate watercress into your daily diet. This delicious green is believed to be an effective diuretic that promotes urine flow, which helps in clearing toxins from the system. When eaten, the diuretic properties of watercress help relieve excess water retention and edema, and this green was historically used in heart failure to remove retained fluid.
